My initial response was that it was Warhammer Fantasy professional or fan art; but then I read a little bit through your comments and found that it wasn't, intentionally. I really think that the mix of historical armor with weird creatures pretty much captures the "feel" of what the Warhammer fantasy world is about - in fact more than some official art for the setting!

Indeed, my first intention wasn't directly inspired by Warhammer Fantasy Battle but I'm a long-time player (20 years ago)especially The Empire. And I like the feel of the 'V3 era' with the Realms Of Chaos books, etc.

So, I'm inevitably influenced by WHB in this illustration ('german armor' look, laurels on the helm,etc)as well as Moorcock's universe (who partially inspired WHB) and Medieval/Renaissance European History.
